
About Us:
Frans Dimbare Rural Youth Skills Training Center is a vocational skills training center located in Kavango East in the village of Diyogha. The Hambukushu Traditional Authority donated the land for the purpose of youth recreational activities in 1974. Under the Ministry of Youth, National Service, Sports, and Culture, since its inception 1997, the center has been providing services directly targeting youth in rural Kavango. Through skills training and other programing its goal is to uplift the youth of the region to be empowered and employed. Today the growing center offers 9 vocational skills training courses (please see Courses for more information.) In addition, the center is host to multiple other programs in art, health, music, rural development projects, and other activities of interest to youth in the community.
