Animal Husbandry

Trainees in Animal Husbandry learn the skills to work in a variety of ways with domesticated animals through theoretical and practical methods. They learn to identify different animal disease occurrences, how to use the medication, and the medical equipment. In addition, trainees acquire skills in methods of castration, dehorning, and artificial insemination. Furthermore, they master animal feeding and housing systems.  It is then with a vast knowledge of animal husbandry that students leave the center to pursue the diverse pathways that are open to them.

Bricklaying

Trainees in this course earn tangible skills in making bricks and blocks both through hands on experience and a theoretical education. They thoroughly learn setting out of buildings, excavations, and building different kinds of bonds. Their skills are further enhanced by knowledge about plastering, rendering walls and ceilings, tilling, and painting. They also gain experience in casting floors and slabs, carpentry, and roofing system.  Through the tangible education given to them, trainees can leave the center secure in their ability to be independent contractors or to work for construction companies.

Computer and Office Administration

This course is a combination of two interconnected subjects. In Computer students gain skills in Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of the inner workings of computers, and maintenance. In Office Administration students are oriented on basic skills for a secretarial career. This includes instruction in telephone call techniques, reception etiquette, meeting procedures, and preparation and organization of documents. The combination of computer and administration provides students with valuable set of skills to make them competitive in the job market.

Learners in this industry study skills in reception, catering, and customer service. They are taught to meet the needs of highly expectant guests from abroad and local nationals. It deals specifically with four different departments that include:  reception, culinary arts, housekeeping, and table attendance.  Since the center is located near and widely known by the vast number of different lodges, students will have the opportunity for on site attachments and possibly future employment.
